This week we are reworking a known story to make it our own. We will be thinking carefully about the vocabulary we choose. Can you think of any words we could use to replace said? Year Four have been playing the shape game. They were given a strange shape and their task was to create something from it. We got the idea from Anthony Browne, author of our topic book, Willy the Wizard. The game showed us that our ideas are as unique as we are. Her thoughtfulness helped raise over one hundred pounds! We are all very proud of you! Today year 4 faced a new challenge....sewing! We are creating finger puppets as part of our new topic. We are using blanket stitch to sew our material together. It's a bit fiddly but I'm sure we'll get there! |
